    DETAILS

    The BTD Bluetooth Dongle Kit is manufactured by Grom Audio and works with the interfaces mentioned above to add hands-free phone calling and A2DP wireless music streaming capabilities. It is our model number GABTD. The microphone cable is approximately 10 feet long, so you have a multitude of routing possibilities.

    You MUST use the BTD in conjunction with one of the interfaces mentioned above. It is NOT a stand-alone product.

    Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical about the sound quality of my music through this BlueTooth adapter. I mean, how could the quality of my music, streaming from my phone (via Bluetooth), retain its quality? Would the music sound gritty or fuzzy? Well, with this unit, the answer is an emphatic NO! The sound is simply SUPERB! Not a hint of distortion or fuzz, this unit allows my phone to wirelessly connect with my current stereo system (2003 BMW 530i) and deliver a sound that is every bit as good as playing a CD.

    Installation was fairly simple, and only required minimal tools to run the microphone to the front of the vehicle. The dongle was placed at the lower corner of the back seat - under the plastic molding. Once installed, BlueTooth connection is a breeze. Now, I can send/receive phone calls, voice command my phone (via the mic), and the options are almost endless. Sound quality on phone calls is excellent, but requires a bit of volume adjustment at times (due to carrier). Volume and CD change buttons on my steering wheel work just as though it were playing through my CD player. Now, I have access to 1000\'s of tunes (via the phone) at any time, anywhere.

    In a nutshell -- AWESOME!
