DETAILS
This device allows you to add Bluetooth streaming music capabilities to most vehicles equipped with a 30-pin iPod cable*. It is very small in appearance (@1.5"x1.5") so it does not stand out like a sore thumb. In fact, it doesn't even have to be visible. It just has to be within 10 feet of the device/phone you're plying music from.
Use it to play music from your phone, iPod, etc. Once it is paired to your device it will automatically connect each time you get in the car. (Although you should note additional Bluetooth receivers in your vehicle, like a hands-free phone system, may 'compete' with this device for your default connection.)
This is not a rechargeable device. It gets it's power from the 30-Pin iPod connection. You can use this in most cars equipped with a 30-pin iPod cable* or you can use it in the house with an alarm clock or any other device that has a 30-pin connection and speakers.
You will control your music from the device/phone unless you add a wireless Bluetooth remote. We have one such remote available in the OPTIONS section below. If you add it, you will be able to skip back and forth between tracks from the remote. This is a popular option in vehicles since it allows you to keep your eyes on the road. It is very small at @1"x2" and can be mounted to your steering wheel, turn signal stalk, emergency brake handle, etc.
Please note that the picture in this ad shows two different views of the same device. It is not a two-piece arrangement. Also, the appearance of the receiver may vary slightly from the picture.
* If your vehicle has an actual iPod interface that is expecting communication to and from an Apple device, this will not work for you. This device merely sends audio through the cable to the radio. It does not accept communication requests. So, if your iPod interface shows text, shows track time, allows FFWD and RWD within the track, etc, our device likely won't work for you.
