This Aux Interface by Grom Audio is a state of the art product that allows you to directly connect any device with a 3.5mm standard headphone jack through the proprietary auxiliary input port on the back of your factory radio or at the CD Changer location (depending on which cable OPTION you choose below.) This allows you to play the audio from that device over the car stereo. Connect devices like: MP3 players (iPod, Zune, etc), satellite tuners, DVD player audio, etc. You will have volume control from the radio and steering wheel controls, if applicable.

This device installs behind the radio. You will be required to tap into 3 wires using the provided wire taps.

This product works in analog CD Changer (CD) mode. Your radio MUST be remote CD Changer capable. Your remote CD Changer (separate from radio), if so equipped, would need to be disconnected to use this product. This is not compatible if you have DSP because that is a digital connection with your CD Changer, not analog. This is also not compatible if you have navigation. You need the trunk mount version (BMWTA1) if you have navigation. It is in a separate listing. Please see the Application List in this ad for additional information on compatibility. We recommend you contact tech support for the manufacturer or visit the gromaudio website to determine exactly how it's going to function in your vehicle with your options.
