Do you have a 2005+ Delco in-dash Ford/Lincoln/Mercury am/fm/CD6 (with or without MP3) radio (like the one pictured) that gives you CD errors and will no longer play? If so, this is the repair for you. Simply complete the payment process and send your radio to us for the repair. We will typically perform the repair within 3 business days of receiving your radio. It comes with a 6 month warranty.

This is for the Delco version of the radios only. It is not valid for Visteon or Pioneer manufactured radios. Delco radios will have an 8-digit number directly above the Ford part number on the part number sticker. (The Ford part number is the one with 18C815 in the middle.) If you purchase from this listing and we find you have a Visteon or Pioneer manufactured radio, we will have to charge you more for the repair, as prices for those radios are higher. (Usually $25-$50.)

INSTRUCTIONS
You will purchase the repair from this listing first. Then you will send your radio AND a copy of the payment confirmation email OR the Order Process email to:

    Replacement Radios
    Attn: Repairs
    2301 S. Banker St, Ste B
    Effingham, IL 62401
Please purchase delivery confirmation if you use USPS. (Tracking is included with UPS and Fedex.) Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will NOT be answered. Your tracking number shows when we received the package. The repair turn-around time is indicated above. You will receive a tracking number when it ships back out. If there is a problem or unexpected delay, we will contact you. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to slow down progress. We know it's tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we're clearly exceeding the standard.

Use common sense!! Please do not send your package without the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week. Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.

DETAILS
This service is for replacement of the CD6 or CD6/MP3 mechanism on 2005+ Delco radios that look like (or are VERY similiar to) the one pictured ONLY. If you have another radio or your radio needs other repairs, please contact us for an estimate.

If you have CDs in your drive and would like them back, please choose the appropriate option from the drop-down list below. Your drive will be sent off to our drive rebuilders and we typically have it back, along with the CDs, within 3 weeks of the initial repair. (We put a drive from our inventory into your radio in order to get it back to you as soon as possible.)

If you attempt to remove CDs before sending the drive to us and damage parts inside the drive that would not normally need replaced (very likely), there will be an additional core charge of $50.

Please note: this repair is valid for 2005 and up vehicles only. The 2004 mechanisms were different. Further, this service is NOT for radios from the 2005 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey vehicles as the mechs were different in those as well. We do not repair that particular version of these radios. This repair is also not valid for Visteon or Pioneer manufactured radios.

DISCLAIMER: Repair prices are based on the assumption that the radio is in it's native state. If it has been damaged by prior attempts to diagnose or repair a problem, additional parts may be required and, if so, additional costs will be incurred. Should we find this to be the case with your radio, we'll contact you BEFORE doing any additional work. However, should you elect not to have the additional work completed, there will be no refund for time and materials already put into the radio.
