This is a brand new single CD drive for select Delco radios in the vehicles listed below. It is used in mp3 and non-mp3 radios. Replacing this drive will NOT activate Theftlock on your radio. There is a 6 month functional warranty on this drive. The warranty is void if the drive has been tampered with or damaged.

You will have to swap the green circuit board from the bottom of your CD drive to this one. This is very easily accomplished. There are only two or three phillips screws and a couple ribbon cables. In rare instances, your circuit board may be bad. If this is the case, a new drive will not fix your problem. We see this about 2 out of every 100 radios, so it's not really worth worrying about but it bears mentioning.

You cannot convert your CD6 radio to a single CD with this drive. If you have CD6 radio you have to get the CD6 drive. We sell it as well.

Instructions for installing this drive are included but here is a brief summary: Remove screws from each side of the face. Remove face. Remove two screws behind the face. Remove top cover from radio. Remove two screws holding CD drive in place towards the back. Unplug CD drive from radio at the CD drive. Remove bracket from back of old CD drive. Remove green circuit board from bottom of old CD drive. Repeat in reverse. It's fairly easy.
