APPLICATIONS
This radio first started appearing in 2005. It is satellite ready. You can easily tell it from the older version because it doesn't have the bass/treble sliders like the older model had. This is a direct replacement in the vehicles on the first list, unless otherwise noted. Regardless of whether you have a CD radio today or not. It is also compatible in the 1998-2001 vehicles on the second list but they switched plug styles in 2002. This radio has the newer plug style, so you will need an optional wiring adapter for the applications in the second list^.

* = Some of the early 2002 models have the old style (twin 7-pin) plugs. (The Neon, Caravan, T & C and the Voyager, for instance.) If you have a 2002, you will want to make sure your plugs look like the ones that are pictured. If not, you will need the adapters to make this plug and play for you as well. (Please check our wiring section.)
This is also plug and play in the following vehicles with an optional wiring adapter package. This is a great way to get a newer radio in your old vehicle. A newer radio typically equals less use. It works in any of these (with the adapters^), regardless of whether you have CD now or not:

^As noted above, the adapters do not include a new CD changer cable. As you will notice, the newer radios have a different changer plug. If you are putting this in a vehicle with the older plugs and want to control the changer, you will also need to buy a newer changer cable. (Please check our wiring section.)
