DETAILS

This Digital iPod Interface by Axxess is a state of the art product that allows you to directly connect your iPod, Mini, Nano or Video to the auxiliary input port of your factory radio. The cable that connects this to your radio is a T-harness, so it has a plug to allow you to, in some cases, retain a factory auxiliary input that is currently connected to the radio.

Unlike some other interface products, this interface allows full control of iPod functions through the radio controls. This includes: track up/down, playlist selection, shuffle modes, scan and repeat.

This works with your factory radio, even if it doesn't have full text display capability. For full text radios (usually just those that are satellite capable), playlist, track name, artist and album name are displayed. For radios without full text display, track numbers and playlist numbers are displayed. Additionally, an external LCD display is available if you want to see text and your radio isn't capable of displaying it. Please call or email for pricing of the optional LCD.

This product also has an extra input port that will allow you to add another device with one of two optional cables. The XM cable (XIAH-XMC) is designed to work in conjunction with the Terk XM Direct Universal Tuner (XMD1000). The RCA cable (XIAH-RCA) is designed to provide left and right RCA inputs for DVD audio, CD changers, etc. You cannot, however, have both extra sources connected at the same time as the iPod. You are limited to a total of two input sources, counting the iPod. (Although you could use both the XM and RCA cables without the iPod if you are simply trying to add XM and another input source to your factory sound system.)

For superior performance, only Apple-licensed connectors are used, not knock-offs. It also charges your iPod while it is connected
