DETAILS
These are replacement plugs for original factory GM 24-pin and 12-pin radios. Wiring pigtails of approximately 6 inches are attached.
These would be spliced into your existing harness if your factory plugs have been removed from the vehicle. This was the only 24 and 12-pin combination offered by GM, so if you've counted 24 pins on your main connector, these are the ones you need. (The 12-pin connector is an auxiliary input for rear seat audio, CD changer, On-Star, XM radio, DVD, etc.)
This style of plug was used on most Class 2 computer-integrated Chevy, GMC, Pontiac (except Bonneville) and Saturn radios that were approximately 4 3/8 inches tall, starting in 2000. Some Buick and Oldsmobile vehicles also used this plug but you should contact us about them, as another plug style was also used. See the Application List below for examples of vehicles that used these plugs.
Different wire colors were often used. Please be aware that you might have to track down the function of each wire on your harness and do research regarding pin assignment before wiring this plug up. The plugs you will receive will probably have the aftermarket standard wire colors, but it is not guaranteed.
