Installed easily on my 99 Deville, with the standard non-bose delco radio. I've read that all 99 devilles come pre-wired for a trunk mounted CD player (apparently it was a dealer add-on). I don't know if this is true, but my standard base model 99 deville with the standard delco radio/cassette player was pre-wired, and the standard radio recognized the kit once installed. The instructions should include directions for hooking into the trunk CD cable, but it is not hard to figure out. I don't know why the cable for the blue tooth is so long-- it seems to work fine mounted behind the carpet in the trunk of the deville, well away from my phone. I do wish the kit could handle wireless calling (it just streams music; at least it is smart enough to shut off for an incoming call).
