Installed in 2004 lexus gx470 Did it myself very easy. I installed the actual unit in the glove box so i can access if firmware update is necessary.
Works right out of the box and sound is as good as cd player. Only improvement I would recommend would be more specific control instructions . I have a I phone 5s and in navigation screen MD mode some buttons dont seem to work. the instructions say some features not available in some radios. I would of like to know more specific which models are capable of what. In am still learning the buttons and have to re organize my playlists . I never used playlists before. The I phone made some on its own but I need to make my own lists and have not learned how to move songs into playlists and out.Over all its a great device at a fair price and with just a little bit of skill you can install it yourself. Love the ability to play internet radio or internet sports .
