DETAILS

This BT45-GM20 digital interface by USA Spec is a state of the art product that allows you to directly connect a Bluetooth device to your factory radio, allowing both hands-free calling and music streaming. The built-in Bluetooth interface allows you to directly connect your Bluetooth-ready device, provided it supports Hands-Free Profiles (HFP).

To use it for calls you must route the included microphone.  Then, to make a call, you simply enter interface mode on your radio.  (For most radios, this is as simple as a press of a button.)  Speak the number (or Contact) or select it from your phone.  Then you'll hear the call audio through the car radio and the included microphone will pick up your end of the conversation.  Receiving a call is even easier in most applications.  When a call is coming in to a connected device the radio will switch to Bluetooth mode automatically.  Even if the radio isn't on!  Caller ID information is displayed on the radio if your radio is satellite capable.  It is also announced through the radio.  If you want to answer the call simply press a button on your radio or steering wheel controls, if applicable.

You can also stream music from your device through this interface using the built-in A2DP streaming. You will have basic track control from the steering wheel or the radio, as well as volume control. This allows you to get rid of your wires and keep your eyes on the road! Artist and song text are shown on the radio display provided your radio is satellite capable.

Last but not least, there are a couple extra ports on this device.  The first port is a USB 2.1 amp charging connection that allows you to charge your devices while in the car.  (No data, audio or video support.)  Simply add your own USB extension (or our UNAI-UF3F-NC here in our store) and route it to the location of your choosing.  The second port is an Aux Input that allows you to connect any device that has a headphone jack.  Simply add the aux cable of your choosing and route it to a convenient location.  If you want to dash-mount it, check out our UNAI-UF3F-NC that provides a flush-mount Aux and USB extension.  It is available in a separate listing.  Search our store for UNAI-UF3F-NC.
