This radio is a great upgrade over the base am/fm/cd player because it plays regular and MP3 CDs and has the RDS feature. It was designed for the following vehicles. It will NOT work in ANY older vehicles. It has the new size, shape, mounting and plug for the 2006 and newer vehicles on this list.

This radio, like all the new GM radios, is designed to work in conjunction with your car's computer. Consequently, you may need your dealer to program the computer once it is installed in your car. Since it is new you should have a high level of functionality without the programming but we always tell our customers to plan on programming. That way there are only good surprises, not bad ones.
