APPLICATIONS

This is being sold for parts or not working because the tuner is known to be bad. Even if you are purchasing it for parts, make sure yours is part number P56038622A_. Otherwise internal parts will be different.

This works in all vehicles on the list but some applications may require a wiring adapter, found in the OPTIONS section below. (See additional info below this application list). *If you have a 2002, you should probably check to see if you have the old 'twin' 7-pin plugs or the newer 22 and 10-pin plugs. They offered both that year and the older 7-pin plugs will require the adapter.

* Some of the early 2002 models have the old style (twin 7-pin) plugs. (The Neon, Caravan, T & C and Voyager are known examples but there could be others.) If you have a 2002, you will want to make sure your plugs look like the ones that are pictured. If not, you will need the adapters to make this plug and play for you as well. (From the OPTIONS section below.)

** The adapters do not include a new CD changer cable. The newer radios (like this one) have a different changer plug. If you are putting this in a vehicle with the older plugs and want to control the changer, you will also need to buy a newer changer cable or a Changer cable adapter. (Please check our Wiring>>Chrysler>>Cables category for our current offerings.)
