Do you have a 2010-2013 GM radio with a Denso navigation block component that has a bad DVD drive?? Does it look like the block pictured in this ad? (If not, read the next paragraph.) If so, this is the repair for you. Repairing your existing unit is going to be much more economical than replacing it because these are VIN-assigned radios. In other words, your VIN is stored in memory in the radio. If you change radios, in addition to paying for the entire radio, you'll also have to pay the dealer to assign your VIN to it. If you have yours repaired, you simply pop it back in and start playing music as soon as you get it back. No programming needed.

If it does not look like the block pictured (say yours has a face on it, for instance), you might still qualify for this repair. You will have to open your radio and see if the DVD drive is either DVS8601V, DVS8603V, DVS8605V or DVS8605VZ. (It should be on a sticker on the DVD drive.) If so, even though your radio does not look like the pictures, this repair would apply to you.

This is for the DVD drive. This is not a blanket repair for the radio. It is only for replacement of the DVD drive. We use a brand new drive.

This repair is covered by a 6 month warranty. Typical turn-around time is 3 days.

Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will NOT be answered. Your tracking number shows when we received the package. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to slow down progress. We know it's tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we're clearly exceeding the standard.

Use common sense!! Please do not send your package without the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week. Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.
