This radio is out of a 2003 Escort. It was ONLY offered in the 2003 Escort and, further, ONLY in models WITHOUT Premium Sound. (Premium Sound systems had an external amplifier and this has an internal one.)

It is possible they used some sort of adapter to make this work in these vehicles because it is a radio that was part of a joint venture with Mazda and it has the Mazda style plugs. You should check with your dealer before ordering, if you're concerned. We can tell you it was offered in the 2003 Escort but we can't guarantee your 2003 Escort will have the correct plugs for it. The plugs are shown below, for your reference. If you find you don't have Premium Sound but your plugs are still different, let us know. We might be able to put together a wiring adapter that will make it plug and play.
