APPLICATIONS
This radio works in the following applications, if your plugs match*:
- Mercury Cougar: 1999-2000
- Ford Focus: 2000-2004
* It is not compatible with the Blaupunkt or SVT sound system. Additionally, there were a couple different plug styles offered in these vehicles. If you have the am/fm/cass/cd or the Audiophile (9006) am/fm/cd6, the plugs are different and this radio is not compatible. Others may be an issue too. Check your plugs BEFORE ordering. You MUST have BOTH long skinny plugs shown in the picture below.

Procedures for entering code on this model
- The word CODE should be displayed on screen at first power-up
- Press (and release) preset 1 as many times as it takes for 1st digit of code to appear on screen
- Press (and release) preset 2 as many times as it takes for 2nd digit of code to appear on screen
- Press (and release) preset 3 as many times as it takes for 3rd digit of code to appear on screen
- Press (and release) preset 4 as many times as it takes for 4th digit of code to appear on screen

If you enter the wrong code too many times, it will go into lock mode and you need to try leaving the key on for at least 2 hours to see if it will give you a chance to enter the code again. (The engine does not need to be running.) If that does not solve it, you may need to remove the radio from the vehicle and let it sit for several hours.
