Do you have a 2003-2006 in-dash Ford/Lincoln/Mercury am/fm/CD or CD6 radio (like the one pictured) that has volume control problems? When you turn it up it goes down or vice versa? Or maybe it doesn't respond to the knob being turned at all? If so, this is the repair for you. Simply complete the payment process and send your radio to us for the repair. It is typically completed within 3 business days of receiving your radio. The repair carries a 6 month warranty.
This will not solve problems with audio cutting in and out on it's own. It will not solve problems with volume spiking or lowering on it's own. It will not solve your problem if you have no volume at all, no matter what you do with the volume knob.

Please purchase delivery confirmation if you use USPS. (Tracking is included with UPS and Fedex.) Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will NOT be answered. Your tracking number shows when we received the package. The repair turn-around time is indicated above. You will receive a tracking number when it ships back out. If there is a problem or unexpected delay, we will contact you. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to
slow down progress. We know it's tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we're clearly exceeding the standard.
Use common sense!! Please do not send your package without the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week.
Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
If you leave CDs in the radio when it is shipped, the mechanism is more likely to be damaged in shipping. Do NOT leave CDs in your radio!! Failure to comply with this request could result in damage to your radio. CD drive damage (and any other damage) sustained during shipping is NOT covered by this repair. Further costs will be incurred on your part if you have damage and want us to repair it.
The shaft on this volume control is slightly longer than the stock controller. As a result, the volume knob will stick out about 1/8" farther than before. You may not even notice it but, if it bothers you, the end of the shaft can probably be filed down.
DISCLAIMER: Repair prices are based on the assumption that the radio is in it's native state. If it has been damaged by prior attempts to diagnose or repair a problem, additional parts may be required and, if so, additional costs will be incurred. Should we find this to be the case with your radio, we'll contact you BEFORE doing any additional work. However, should you elect not to have the additional work completed, there will be no refund for time and materials already put into the radio.
