If you're in need of a control/display board for a 1998-2004 Ford or Mercury CD Cassette radio with RDS feature, you've come to the right place.

This is the board behind the face ONLY. The face itself is not included.

You would use this if you have a burnt out display and replacing the display power source board did not solve the problem. (The power source board is usually the culprit but this board has problems maybe 5% of the time too.)

This board was found in many Explorer and F150 vehicles from 1998-2004. If your radio has an aluminum (usually black) ribbed heat sink on the back of the radio, running all along the top, you have the RDS style radio that uses this board.

Instructions for installation or removal are not included. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this replacement or are not qualified to perform the replacement you should seek an electronics shop that will do it for you or ask us about sending it in for us to do it. We can tell you that you MUST disconnect the negative battery terminal or remove the plugs from the back of the radio BEFORE you attempt to do any work on the radio. Failure to do so can result in a short within the radio.
