If you're in need of a complete face with buttons for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury CD6 MP3 radio manufactured by Visteon, you've come to the right place. Simply include a note with your payment (in the comments section) that indicates your year, make and model.
The Visteon version was NOT prone to button wear. If you have a lot of button wear, you probably have the Delco version from one of our other listings. This face is offered for people who have accidentally scratched or broke theirs. Don't let a torn up radio drag the looks of your vehicle down. Get your replacement faceplate from Replacement Radios.
Again, this is for the radio manufactured by Visteon, NOT Delco. The white sticker on the side of the radio often says Visteon on it. Additionally, if there is an 8-digit numeric part number directly above the Ford part number, you have the Delco version and that is in a different listing. Returns are not accepted on this face for ANY reason, so make sure you know who manufactured your radio before ordering, You CANNOT assume this is the right one just because it looks the same as yours. Delco, Pioneer and Visteon all made radios for Ford and they all look identical from the face.
The board behind the face is not included. The listing is not intended for people looking for the board. There are no returns accepted for this product, even if it is not the correct face for you. Again, this listing is not intended for people who only need the board. It is a listing for the Visteon faceplate with knobs and buttons included. If you do your homework, you will be OK. If not, you could be buying the wrong face. We are not responsible if you do not make sure you have the Visteon radio before you purchase this. We know the faceplate works on the Visteon CD6 radios from 2005-2008, at a minimum.
Instructions for installation or removal are not included. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this replacement or are not qualified to perform the replacement you should seek an electronics shop that will do it for you or ask us about sending it in for us to do it. We can tell you that you MUST disconnect the negative battery terminal or remove the plugs from the back of the radio BEFORE you attempt to do any work on the radio. Failure to do so can result in a short within the radio.
