The USB port on the back is USB mini. If you want to adapt it to standard USB female so you can plug in a USB thumb drive, we offer a couple optional cables to accomplish this. The cheapest option is few inches long and will hang out from behind the radio. Or, choose the surface mount kit instead. It allows you to mount it in the glove-box, console, dash, etc. You just have to drill the hole. It is approximately 3/4" in diameter and the cable is 6 feet long, which allows for a multitude of mounting options. Please contact us before ordering if you're interested.

This radio, like all the newer GM radios, is designed to work in conjunction with your car's computer. Consequently, you will need programming performed to get 100% functionality. We can perform this programming here before the radio is shipped at additional cost, as well as a slight shipment delay. Your other option is to have a GM dealer program it after it's installed.
