DETAILS
This charging module plug (with pigtails) was cut from the harness of an assembly line leftover console that was never installed in a vehicle. This was found on the premium console. Use this set-up if you have the same part now, but something has happened to it. (If you're trying to upgrade to this, check the ** paragraph below.)
Part numbers for compatible charging modules have been provided. That is the ultimate compatibility check. If it matches yours, it will plug in to your module. (Wiring/splicing on the other end will be your responsibility. Professional installation is HIGHLY recommended.)
**We have seen information on the internet about using this in part to wire in a 15W charger in place of the older 5W. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee what you read on the internet is correct. We don't do custom installs or even direct replacement installs here, so we can provide no guidance on adding this to a vehicle. An experiment like that would be your choice. Running into a roadblock or not being able to get it to work does not make it defective. It just means you tried an experiment and it failed. Please don't try to hold us accountable for an attempt to do something we're not advocating. Does that mean it can't be done? Not necessarily. It just means we don't do it, so we can't recommend it or assist with it.**
