This is a cassette mechanism for many GM radios from the early to mid 2000s. It is brand new and includes a 30 day warranty. If your cassette mechanism will no longer eject or load and it is part number 09376303, this is what you've been looking for. (The part number is on a white sticker on the cassette drive itself, not on the radio.)

We include the control board that is attached to the side of the cassette drive. Some of the radios that used these drives do have different plugs. If you find your plugs are different, simply remove the screw and ribbon cable and swap your board onto the drive. If your plugs are the same we do not recommend swapping the board. It is rare, but the control board can be defective. You are better off using the new board on the new drive, if you can.

These cassette drives were removed from brand new radios and have never been used. We parted the radios because they were a very specific part number that is a low volume seller. There are/were strips of vibration dampening foam material on the top of the drive that deteriorated a bit and stuck to the lid when it was removed from the radio. Obviously this has absolutely no bearing on functionality of the drive. It just makes it look a little ugly. If it's really bad, we may remove the strips with a razor blade and adhesive remover. Do NOT assume you received a used drive because it isn't a pretty little boxed item. It is EXACTLY what we have advertised here. Check our feedback. We're honest and reliable.
