This is an original factory 6-pin steering wheel control plug, like the one found in the GM 20-pin plug from the mid to late 90s. This would be spliced into your existing harness if you have a late 80s or early 90s vehicle and need to convert your steering wheel control plug to the 6-pin style because you're adding a radio from the mid to late 90s. This has six pins but there are usually only wires assigned to two of them.
