This package will allow you to listen to and control SiriusXM satellite radio directly through your satellite-capable factory radio, with the addition of your SXV100 or SXV200 tuner and antenna kit. (See the application list below for potentially compatible vehicles.) It displays the same type of information (station #, song title, artist name, etc) as the factory satellite kits, yet it costs less. The vehicle-specific cabling DOES include a T-harness that will allow you to retain some factory options, if so equipped.  This kit is not compatible with the Rear Seat Entertainment video system though. 

Unlike external tuners that clutter up your dash and attract thieves, this interface allows control of SiriusXM satellite radio through your existing factory radio. It is also directly connected to the factory radio via the auxiliary input port on the back. That means you don't have to rely on the poor performance of an FM modulator or cassette adapter. (Removal of the radio will be required for installation. We have instructions for some vehicles. Please ask WITH your order and we will include them if we can.)  It does allow some basic controls from the steering wheel audio control buttons, if so equipped.

The factory radio MUST have an XM, XM/AUX or SAT/AUX button for this product to work.  If your vehicle is equipped with a factory satellite tuner you will have to disconnect it. 

The included auxiliary input cable has both RCA and stereo mini plugs. You can use either (but not both at the same time) to add audio from another source. This allows you to listen to DVD audio, an mp3 player, an iPod, a CD changer, etc over the factory sound system and control volume from the radio or steering wheel controls (if so equipped). 

This device is capable of interfacing with an iPod but, as delivered, there is no iPod cable. You can add a 30-pin iPod-ready cable. It is an available option in the UPGRADES section below. Then, if you want to use it with an iPod with Lightning connector, you could also purchase our IPBT-30 to convert the 30-pin connector to a Bluetooth receiver. Please note that you can only have two input sources connected at one time, counting the satellite tuner. This means you would be giving up the auxiliary cable connection in favor of this optional iPod connection.

Or, use the port to add something cooler, like Bluetooth or HD radio  The ISBT21 Bluetooth kit (see UPGRADES) can be added to this interface and used in lieu of the Aux cable.  However, if you are using an iPhone, you can stream music from it wirelessly using the A2DP Bluetooth feature, so it's like having three sources connected: satellite radio, phone through Bluetooth and music through Bluetooth.  Please see our ISBT21 ad for additional information on this Bluetooth kit.  The HDRT HD Radio tuner kit (not included) can be used with this interface instead of the Aux cable.  Please see our ad for the HDRT for additional information on that product.

Please note that you can only have two input sources connected at one time, counting the satellite tuner. This means you can have either the iPod cable OR the auxiliary cable OR Bluetooth kit OR the HD Radio kit connected at the same time as the satellite tuner.
