Do you have a Honda am/fm/CD6 or am/fm/cass/cd6 radio with a CD6 MP3 drive (similar to the one pictured) that gives you CD errors and will no longer play? If so, this is the repair for you. Repairing your existing unit is going to be much more economical than replacing it because these are expensive radios. Simply pop it back in and start playing music as soon as you get the radio back. No programming needed.
To arrange for this repair, simply complete the payment process and send your radio to us, along with a copy of your order confirmation email, your VIN, and your radio theft code. We will perform the repair within 3 business days of receiving your radio and we use a BRAND NEW CD6 drive. It will be covered by a 6 month warranty. Return shipping is included in the repair price.
This is for radios with drives that look similar to the picture and do not have a WMA logo but do have an MP3 logo.

Please purchase delivery confirmation if you use USPS. (Tracking is included with UPS and Fedex.) Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will NOT be answered. Your tracking number shows when we received the package. The repair turn-around time is indicated above. You will receive a tracking number when it ships back out. If there is a problem or unexpected delay, we will contact you. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to slow down progress. We know it's tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we're clearly exceeding the standard.
Use common sense!! Please do not send your radio without the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week. Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.
ADDITIONAL INFO
This service is for replacement of the CD6 MP3 mechanism that started being used in radios in 2006. If your radio does not have an MP3 logo or it has both MP3 and WMA logos, this is the wrong listing for yours. It is not for navigation radios or remote CD changers. If you have another radio or your radio needs other repairs, please contact us for an estimate.
If you have CDs in your drive and would like them back, please choose the appropriate option from the drop-down list below. Your drive will be sent off to our drive rebuilders and we typically have it back, along with the CDs, within 3 weeks of the initial repair. (We put a drive from our inventory into your radio in order to get it back to you as soon as possible.)
If you attempt to remove CDs before sending the drive to us and damage parts inside the drive that would not normally need replaced (very likely), there will be an additional core charge of $25.
DISCLAIMER: Repair prices are based on the assumption that the radio is in it's native state. If it has been damaged by prior attempts to diagnose or repair a problem, additional parts may be required and, if so, additional costs will be incurred. Should we find this to be the case with your radio, we'll contact you BEFORE doing any additional work. However, should you elect not to have the additional work completed, there will be no refund for time and materials already put into the radio.
