This radio, like all the new GM radios, is designed to work in conjunction with your car's computer. Consequently, you may need your dealer to program the computer once it is installed in your car in order to get 100% functionality. Since it is new it should have a high degree of functionality without the programming but we always tell our customers to plan on the programming so there aren't any unpleasant surprises.
