This is a brand new 6 disc CD drive for select 2007 and newer Mitsubishi radios. Even though it looks similar to drives used by various other manufacturers, this is the Mitsu version and is not guaranteed to work in anything else. It is also NOT the drive used in every Mitsubishi vehicle. You will need to pop the top case off your radio to verify yours looks EXACTLY like this one because some of the radios were offered with a different, incompatible drive. If yours doesn't look identical to the one pictured, it won't work for you. There will be no returns accepted for this item for any reason other than functional defect. Even then, only exchanges will be offered, not refunds, so please do your research BEFORE purchasing.

Again, this drive might appear identical to the drive used in some other manufacturer's vehicles but the board on the back is different. It may work if you swap the boards but we cannot guarantee it, so you would be purchasing at your own risk if you don't have a Mitsubishi vehicle with a drive that looks exactly like this from the top. Installation is relatively easy but, if you're not mechanically inclined, you shouldn't be buying it. Basically, after you have the radio out, you remove two screws holding the drive in from the front and two more from the rear. The drive can then be lifted out and the ribbon cable pulled free of it. If there is a bracket attached to the back of the drive, it will need swapped to the new one.

There is a 6 month replacement warranty on this item. It covers functional defects only.
