This is a brand new 6 disc CD MP3 WMA drive for select Nissan radios. Even though it looks like the same drive used in various other applications (Ford, Honda, Toyota, Audi, Hyundai, GM, etc), this is the Nissan version and they are not interchangeable. You will need to pop the top case off your Nissan radio to verify yours has this drive because some of the radios were offered with a different, incompatible drive. If yours doesn't look virtually identical to the one pictured, it won't work for you. (The other CD6 drive they used was quite a bit different so, if yours appears to look the same as this, it probably is.) If yours doesn't play MP3 or WMA format, this isn't the right drive for you. There will be no returns accepted for this item for any reason other than functional defect. Even then, only exchanges will be offered, not refunds, so please do your research BEFORE purchasing.
Again, this drive might appear identical to the drive used in some other manufacturer's vehicles but the board on the back is different. It may work if you swap the boards but we cannot guarantee it, so you would be purchasing at your own risk if you don't have a Nissan vehicle. There were several other versions of this drive in Nissan radios as well. They are not interchangeable. Yours MUST be MP3/WMA capable. Yours MUST have NO green board on the top and must have TWO kidney shaped openings on the top of the drive, NOT one triangle-shaped opening. You must also have only one black ribbon-cable connector. It is on the bottom of the drive and is about 3/4 of an inch wide. (There is NO second smaller connector on the opposite side of the green board, right above the 3/4 inch connector, as is found on various other incompatible drives.) Again, there will be no returns accepted for this item for any reason other than functional defect. Even then, only exchanges will be offered, not refunds, so please do your research BEFORE purchasing.
Installation instructions are NOT included. Nor will we be able to walk you through them over the phone. Basically, if you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't be buying it. You should be sending your radio to use for the replacement of this drive instead. That service is just $25 more, including return shipping.
