This adapter is designed to convert the twin screw mount on the Toyota FJ Cruiser to a standard wedge mount. You would use this if you are trying to put a standard aftermarket mirror in your vehicle, for instance. Use it to add a back-up camera mirror and/or one with auto-dimming and/or HomeLink.

This adapter only sticks out from the headliner about 1/2". This means you may have to move your mirror to use your sun visor, depending on the length of the stem on the mirror you choose. This is a small sacrifice when you consider you could be gaining a mirror with a video screen and/or other fancy options.

This is made to order and a delay of 3-5 business days before shipping is not uncommon.
