This radio, like all the new GM radios, is designed to work in conjunction with your car's computer. Consequently, you may need your dealer to perform programming once it is installed in your car in order to achieve 100% functionality. It is possible you will have some functionality before programming since it is new but we always tell customers to plan on the programming so there are no surprises.
