iSimple Bluetooth kits are made to allow you to make and receive handsfree phone calls or stream music wirelessly. Some kits do both.
There are quite a few kits that are vehicle specific and are operated through the radio, giving them a factory appearance. Start by clicking
on the Bluetooth Kits link on the left side of this page. There you will find offerings for many different vehicle manufacturers. Each kit has undergone
a significant amount of testing before it was brought to market. Plus, iSimple has dedicated technical support and development departments so they're
constantly addressing issues and adding new applications and features through firmware updates and the release of add-on items. Plus they have a toll-free
phone number. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to find a phone number for some of these companies? It's almost like they don't want to hear from you after
the sale.
So what are some of the reasons why you would need an iSimple Bluetooth kit? Reason one, and probably the most important reason, should
probably be safety. Distracted driving has become a huge problem. Many states have passed laws requiring you to have a hands-free device in the car if
you're going to make and receive calls. Laws differ from state to state so you should read yours carefully. Most seem to indicate, however, that hands-free
should either require no touching of the phone or, at most, one touch of the phone to take and make calls. How does the iSimple Bluetooth kit handle this?
Well, it uses your radio. It's already using the speakers in your vehicle to play the other end of the conversation. That much is a given. But it qualifies
for the hands-free designation because taking and making calls is as simple as pressing buttons on your radio. In our non-binding, non-expert opinion, it's
highly unlikely the government will pass laws against touching your radio. (Can you imagine the uproar that would cause? What's next? You can't tilt your
seat?) At any rate, since it is Bluetooth wireless technology, your phone can actually stay in your pocket, in your purse, in your gym bag, on your charger
or wherever you would like. You won't have to touch it to receive a call. You'll touch your radio instead. To make a call you can use the voice recognition
software that is built in your phone. So you use the radio buttons to indicate you want to make a call and then you speak the number or say the name of the
person you want to call, if they're in your phone's address book. Reason two is for streaming audio. Whether it's music from your phone, music from an app
or audio from an app, most of the iSimple Bluetooth devices can provide this feature. This takes things to a whole new level. As with calls, you can leave
your device tucked away and still play audio from it. This is an extremely popular feature with teens, young adults and music lovers of all ages.
Another nice feature of the iSimple Bluetooth devices is their diversity or versatility. They not only have devices for calling and streaming
audio or streaming audio only but they also have devices that allow other features. Their Connect line, for instance, adds a USB connection for Android or iPod,
as well as an auxiliary input jack. Add-on items are also available for SiriusXM or HD Radio. And, if they don't have a vehicle-specific kit for you, they have
a universal kit that utilizes your antenna connection, which is a lot better than the cheap devices that transmit wirelessly to your car's antenna or require
a cassette adapter. We don't even sell those kits, they're so bad. In a nutshell, iSimple has any kind of Bluetooth solution you might need. As with all our
products, if you need help picking out the kit that's right for you, give us a call or drop us an email.
