At Replacement Radios, standard ground shipping to the continental US is included in our prices. (AK, HI, PR, VI and Canada orders will have a shipping surcharge automatically added to the order.) Shipment is made from Illinois and usually takes between 2 and 5 business days to arrive anywhere in the 48 contiguous states. If you require faster service, upgrades are available in the Shipping Upgrades category. All items typically ship within one business day of receipt of payment. (Some special-order and made-to-order items are exceptions.) If an item is out of stock and subject to a shipping delay it will be noted as such as soon as you add the item to your cart. (Look for red asterisks, if this is the case.) Additional details on returning Special Orders appear towards the bottom of this page. Please note: any fees associated with shipping services are non-refundable, should you need to return the product.


We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. It's not in the interest of either party to have a problem arise. Therefore, our radios undergo a series of tests to confirm functionality. However, if something does go wrong, you can rest a little easier knowing our units carry a warranty. (Indicated in the details for each radio.) Please note the following warranty/refund terms:
  • All returns require prior written authorization via email and ALL instructions that accompany our email reply must be followed in order to ensure processing of your return. The return procedure is documented at the bottom of the invoice you receive with your item. Returns will be refused if they are not authorized.
  • We reserve the right to refuse ANY return request made for non-warranty reasons (no longer needed, changed your mind, made a mistake, etc.) This policy is commonly applied for CD6 radios and DVD players, among other things. It is also applied to anything that was new but can no longer be sold as such because it shows signs of having been opened or installed.
  • Returns for refunds (including partial) must be requested within 30 days of the order date.
  • Any signs of tampering, modifications or damage to your return will void the warranty. This includes broken or removed warranty seals. If there's a problem with one of our products, please do NOT try to diagnose or repair it yourself.
  • Use of CDs with adhesive labels will void your warranty. If we receive a return for repair, exchange or refund and find there is a CD with an adhesive label in it, it will not be covered under warranty. NEVER use CDs with adhesive labels. They are not meant for car radios.
  • If you make a warranty claim and refuse a repaired/replacement unit OR you return a product that doesn't have a confirmed functional problem, we will withhold 20% or $15 (whichever is the greater amount) from your credit/refund. This is assuming the item is still in the same condition it left here in. If not, additional deductions will apply OR the return request will be denied. We also reserve the right to deduct any shipping fees we have incurred.
  • Return requests for items that were new when purchased but have since been opened are approved at our discretion. In most cases, we have no desire to take back merchandise that can no longer be sold as new. Should we approve a return request in this situation, there will be a MINIMUM of a 25% restocking fee. More if condition and/or situation warrant it. In addition, all shipping expenses we have incurred will be withheld from the refund.
  • If you cancel an order after payment but before shipping, we will withhold 5% from your refund to cover the transaction fees. (Our card processor charges approximately 2.5% for every transaction, including refunds.)
  • We do not reimburse for programming, installation or removal fees. Our invoices include links to a couple websites that have installation instructions for many vehicles. We assume customers are doing the install themselves. If you choose to pay someone to do it for you, that is your decision and must be made with the understanding you will not be reimbursed for the installation/removal and/or programming if a problem develops with the item and you need to send it back.
  • The warranty is void if the item is returned with an electrical problem caused as a result of improper wiring or an issue in the vehicle. A product cannot short out in shipping since there is no power supply. We test our products before they are sent so we know they don't have an electrical problem. There can only be a short when power is supplied to an incorrect wire. Consequently, use great care during the installation and test all connections, especially if the factory wiring has been modified. (Make sure to consult a wiring diagram if your plug has been cut off. Never assume the wires have the same function just because the color appears the same or similar, as automakers do not always use the same colors from harness to harness.)
  • Our warranties are non-transferrable. They are no longer valid once ownership of the radio and/or vehicle has changed.
  • We do not sell or ship products outside the US, PR, VI and Canada. Further, all warranties are void if you send one of our products on to any other country. Electronics (and CD radios in particular) are VERY sensitive to damage during shipping and do not survive extremely long trips very well. If you choose to send your purchase outside the US, you are doing so at your own risk!
  • As a general rule, we do not reimburse for return shipping. We reserve the right to make exceptions, in some instances, but it is entirely at our discretion and would need to be addressed in advance. Under no circumstances will we reimburse for upgraded return shipping fees! (Next Day Air, 2-Day, etc) If you choose to send the item back via a faster service because you are in a hurry, that decision must be made with the understanding you will not be reimbursed for it.
  • Special orders (items that are out of stock at the time of your order) are not returnable unless there is a functional defect, in which case, we do not issue refunds. Repair or replacement would be your only option. We may, at our discretion, allow some special orders to be cancelled prior to delivery but they will be subject to a minimum 25% stocking fee. Items which appear on our website are not necessarily in stock. After you add it to your cart, if you get a message indicating it appears to be out of stock, it is considered a special-order item.
