DETAILS

The Peripheral IS76 iPod Interface allows you to directly connect ANY iPod, iTouch or iPhone (except Shuffle and the earliest models like 1G and 2G. See list below.) to your car radio**. It also provides the capability to charge most iPods while it is connected. (See list below.) Connection of a power and ground wire will be required for charging. It is not required if you don't care about charging.

This product does not use radio controls. It allows you to retain full control through the iPod itself. Many people find this to be easier since they are already familiar with the navigation menu of their player. Plus, many factory radios are not capable of displaying text, so this gives you the ability to listen to your iPod through your car radio, regardless of whether your radio is text-capable or not.

There is also an AV jack on this adapter. If your iPod is capable of video and you have a video system in the vehicle with a yellow RCA AV input, you can play video from your iPod on the vehicle's rear entertainment screen. (This extra AV plug is the only difference between the IS75 and the IS76 but they're priced the same, so we only sell the IS76.)

For superior performance, only Apple-licensed connectors are used, not knock-offs.

Compatible with the following Apple products:

** Please note that use of this product requires female RCA plugs on the back of your radio. (Or on the input device you have connected to your radio.) Factory radios do not have RCA plugs so, if you intend to use this with a factory radio, you will have to purchase the appropriate Auxiliary Input Adapter for your vehicle, which will convert your factory input plug to RCA. We carry many of the most popular adapters in our Auxiliary Inputs category.
