This antenna adapter package is designed for people who are putting an HD Radio kit or an IS31 aux input (or any other device that plugs into the antenna jack on the back of the radio) in their GM vehicle that is equipped with a radio that has the motorola mini jack. The mini motorola jack started appearing in 1988 and was used almost exclusively in GM radios until 2006 when some models started showing up with a plug with a white core in the center. If your antenna jack on the radio has a white 'core' in it, this isn't the right adapter package for you. Instead, you need the antenna adapter package we have listed as 'white core'.

The HD tuners (and other RF input devices) sold by most manufacturers utilize a motorola style plug, so the factory antenna jack must be converted to motorola for insertion into the interface and then back again for connection to the factory radio. (So you get two adapters with this kit.)
