If you're in need of a
brand new
button for a GM car/mini-van CD or CD/Cassette radio like those pictured below, you've come to the right place. (If you're in need of a complete face, check the Faceplates category.) GM has clamped down on button sales, so these are getting really hard to find! Compatible radios started appearing in 2000 in cars and mini-vans (and some small SUVs and full-size vans.)
Just because your vehicle is a 2000 or newer does NOT mean you should be ordering from this listing.
Some vehicles still used other styles up to 2005.
If you want to make sure these will work for you, pull your Volume assembly off. If you have a metal shaft sticking out of the radio (and your vehicle is on the application list below), this is the right listing for you.
We carry a large stock of brand new parts for this radio. This is for
ONE
knob or button.
Please indicate your year, radio type and knob/button below. We cannot process your order without this!!
There are no quantity breaks. If you need multiple buttons, you will need to keep adding this item to your cart and select the appropriate button from the drop-down list each time.
Please note: some buttons cost more or less than the base price listed above. The extra amount (or discount) is indicated in the drop-down box.
(Yes, the Volume and Tune buttons are very expensive but that's because we have less of them and can't get any more.)
APPLICATION CHART
These parts are not for any radios that aren't pictured or models not listed. Nor are they for the fullsize truck/SUV versions (with the plastic core in the volume assembly), even if you think the parts look the same. It is not a listing for CD6, am/fm or navigation radios either.

Chevrolet S10: 2002*-2003
Chevrolet Trailblazer: 2002*-2003
Chevrolet Venture: 2000-2005

*Some 2002 vehicles still had the older style of radio. Make sure yours matches one of those pictured in this listing.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Installation instructions are not included. You shouldn't be attempting to repair a radio if you're not qualified. Having said that, installation of the volume, tune and audio knobs are easy. The old ones pop off if you give them a firm tug. All other buttons require removal of the radio, then the radio face and, finally, the board from the back of the face.
Make sure you unplug the radio from the vehicle for at least 30 minutes before a repair is attempted!!
Your VIN is stored in memory so the radio won't lock.
Most of these radios use a two-piece arrangement for the volume/power, as well as tune/info. There is a knob around the outside and a button on the inside. These parts are listed individually in the drop-down below, as well as complete assemblies. If you need the knob AND button, order the assembly. It's a little cheaper than ordering each separately. Yes, they are expensive but they are getting hard to find.
If you have the basic U1C CD radio (like the second one pictured) that does not have the AUDIO knob, please be sure to specify this below, as the knobs and buttons on it are a little different from the others pictured.
Some versions of the CD/Cass radio have a couple
buttons that are labeled differently. Obviously the
button will still perform the correct function, even
if it has slightly different labeling.
This is the U1C radio. If you have this radio,
make sure to select it below.

Yes, the Volume and Tune buttons are expensive. We covered that earlier. If you try to avoid the premium by not selecting the right button, then putting 'Volume button' in the comments, for instance, we WILL catch it and we will have to cancel the order and withhold money from your refund to cover our expenses! We can't help that GM clamped down on these. If you want to get mad at someone, get mad at GM. We aren't even supposed to have these...
