Do you have a 2006+ in-dash Ford/Mercury am/fm/CD or CD6 radio manufactured by Visteon that has a blank display? If so, this is the repair for you. Simply complete the payment process and send your radio to us for the repair. (The address is found in the INSTRUCTIONS section of this ad.) We will typically perform the repair within 3 business days of receiving your radio. It comes with a 6 month warranty.

This is for radios manufactured by Visteon. Further, it should look like the one pictured. Ford used several radio suppliers but, if your display is out, you probably have the Visteon version. However, you will want to check before purchasing. The part number sticker must say VISTEON on it somewhere. Or, if you want to take a chance and send us a radio that might not be covered by this repair, we will simply send it back un-repaired and withhold the shipping and credit card fees from your refund if we can't fix the display.

This is NOT for radios with a broken, scratched or damaged display. Further, if your board has damage and requires additional parts that wouldn't normally be part of this repair, additional cost will be involved. We will contact you before performing any additional work but refunds will not be issued for any time/parts already put into the evaluation/repair process. If, for instance, your display board is broken or non-repairable, an additional core charge of at least $35 will apply. Make sure to remove all CDs from your radio before shipping it to us. Radios shipped with CDs inside them are more prone to CD drive damage. You will also want to package the radio extremely well for the trip. You don't want to send it for a display repair, only to have us find it needs additional repairs because it bounced around in the box during shipping.

You will purchase the repair from this listing first. Then you will send your radio AND a copy of the payment confirmation email OR the Order Process email to:

Tracking is included with UPS, USPS and Fedex shipments. Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will not be answered. Your tracking number shows when we received the package. The repair turn-around time is indicated above. You will receive a tracking number when it ships back out. If there is a problem or unexpected delay, we will contact you. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to slow down progress. We know it's tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we're clearly exceeding the standard.

Use common sense!! Please do not send your package without the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week. Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.

Repair prices are based on the assumption the radio is in it's native state. If it has been damaged by prior attempts to diagnose or repair a problem, we reserve the right to abort the repair process and return the radio to you unrepaired. If this happens, any expenses we have incurred will be deducted from your refund. In some cases we may still attempt the repair, but there is no warranty on our work. (It is not our fault we receive a damaged radio and we should not be expected to warrant our work when someone else has damaged something that should not be in that condition. Again, we expect to receive the radio in it's native state. Not modified or damaged.) If we can address the extra issue by replacing additional parts, we will contact you before doing so, as additional costs will be incurred for parts that would not normally be needed. However, should you elect not to have the additional work completed, there will be no refund for time and materials already put into the radio.
