This is a cassette mechanism for many GM radios from the late 90s and early 2000s. It is new, tested here, and includes a 30 day warranty. If your cassette mechanism will no longer eject or load and it is part number 12204914, 16207327, 16245004 or 16256794, this is what you've been looking for.

It is not pictured, but we often include the circuit board from the back of the drive as a courtesy. GM did sometimes use different cables/plugs. As a result, you may find you need to swap your circuit board onto this drive. That board is not a mechanical part that fails, so using your old one will have no bearing on use of the drive. And, if we always left that board off, 100% of customers would have to swap theirs.

These were removed from New Old Stock radios we had in such quantity we would never sell them all. **GM put a rubber/foam vibration damper strip on drives when they were installed. Those break down with age and get gooey. We usually remove those strips so they don't make a mess for you. (It will stain clothes.) As a result, however, you will notice some staining, residue and/or scratch marks from the removal. The drives are new and tested, as indicated. Please don't assume they aren't, simply because you see indications of that removal process...
