We will typically complete your repair within 3 business days and return the radio to you. (CD drives for CD6 radios are not covered under this repair. Please purchase delivery confirmation if you use USPS. (Tracking is included with UPS and Fedex.) Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will NOT be answered. Your tracking number shows when we received the package. The repair turn-around time is indicated above. You will receive a tracking number when it ships back out. If there is a problem or unexpected delay, we will contact you. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to slow down progress. We know it's tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we're clearly exceeding the standard.
Use common sense!! Please do not send your package without the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week. Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.

CD drives for MP3 radios are not covered under this repair. CD drives for CD6 radios are not covered under this repair. Both those are in separate listings. f you send us a radio that is not covered, we will contact you if additional cost is involved. If it is one that is not covered and is not available as a separate repair, we will refund all but $20 of your payment and send the radio back to you.
This is only for the single CD and CD/Cass radios that look like the one pictured. Further, it is only for the trucks and SUVs from 2003-2006. We do this repair for the cars and minivans but it is a separate listing. We know this CD drive was used in radios with part numbers 10356164, 10357894, 10359566, 10359576, 15104155, 15104156, 15138488, 15138489, 15184932, 15184933, 15198700, 15198701 and 15295372, among others.
In rare instances, replacing the CD drive does not solve the problem. We have completed this repair over 1000 times. We have seen about 10 instances where a board was bad inside the radio and it was keeping the drive from working. If this ends up being the case with your radio we may not be able to repair it and you would receive a refund of all but our minimum labor charge: $30. This includes return shipping to get your unrepairable radio back to you. If the radio has an additional problem that is keeping the CD drive from working and we can repair it, we will let you know what the additional cost would be, if any. Again, this has happened about 10 times out of 1000, so it is not common at all but it bears mentioning.
Any other repairs which are required are not covered at this price. If you need an additional repair, please contact us for a repair estimate.
DISCLAIMER: Repair prices are based on the assumption that the radio is in it's native state. If it has been damaged by prior attempts to diagnose or repair a problem, additional parts may be required and, if so, additional costs will be incurred. Should we find this to be the case with your radio, we'll contact you BEFORE doing any additional work. However, should you elect not to have the additional work completed, there will be no refund for time and materials already put into the radio.
