If you're in need of a complete knob and button set for a black GM Delco CD radio like the one pictured, you've come to the right place. This is a brand new knob and button set. Compatible radios started appearing in 2006 and are made by Delco. However, just because your vehicle is a 2006 or newer does NOT mean you should be ordering from this listing. GM used three different radio manufacturers and none of the parts are interchangeable. To determine if this is the right button set for you, pull your radio and make sure your sticker says Delco on it.
This is for one complete set of knobs and buttons for a black GM CD radio, as pictured. It is not for the complete faceplate. Just the knobs and buttons from it. GM used a dark gray face on some radios. These will work in those too but will be slightly darker than your faceplate, in that case. They will work on CD6 radios too but you are not getting a LOAD button. You would have to re-use your LOAD button or know that pressing the button with the clock symbol is what you do to load a CD now. That's easy enough...
It should be noted that this particular face was offered on radios with white-ish button back-lighting. This means the buttons may have a different color coating on the back side than yours did. Consequently this may change the appearance of your button lighting at night. But it's better than worn buttons, right?
Installation instructions are not included. You shouldn't be repairing a radio if you're not qualified. Having said that, installation of the knobs is easy. The old ones pop off if you give them a firm tug. The buttons, however, require removal of the face and the control-display board behind the face. Do NOT attempt to replace these with the radio still plugged in the vehicle!! Unplug it and let it sit a minimum of 30 minutes before working on it!
