DETAILS

This is an original factory 20-pin plug with wiring pigtails. This would be spliced into your existing harness if your factory plug has been removed from the vehicle. This was the only 20-pin plug offered by GM, so if you've counted 20 pins on your main plug, this is the one you need. This style of plug was used in:
  • Buick - 1989-1994*
  • Cadillac - 1989-1994*
  • Chevrolet - 1989*-2002*
  • GMC - 1989-2002*
  • Oldsmobile - 1989-1994*
  • Pontiac - 1989-2002*
  • Saturn - 1989-1999*
If your vehicle is equipped with steering wheel controls, please be sure to let us know, as not all plugs have wires for those terminals.

*Not all models had this plug style in all the years listed. Please check your radio before ordering. Some of the 80s and early 90s models had a 21 pin plug. The main parts of the plug (power, ground and speakers) were the same, so you could probably make this work in a 21 pin application too.

Found a very hard to find harness for a 1995 Blazer radio. Delivery was very quick.

Purchased this along with the 94-02 Delco CD player for an 87 El Camino who's original harness is long gone. Only hiccup came from the illumination and dimmer wires. Both the 87 wiring diagrams and random 94-02 wiring diagrams I looked at list gray as radio illumination and brown as radio dimmer. Hooking the Camino's gray to plug gray and brown to brown and turning on the lights only blanked the radio display altogether, but to otherwise no ill effects. The radio kept on playing, and turning the lights off brought the display back. Swapping gray to brown and vice versa brought about the intended button back lighting and display dimming. The plug I purchased appears correct, and I can't fathom why any previous owner would swap these two wires, so I don't know. Take this for what it's worth. You adventurous types who can't use the direct 89+ 20-pin radio to pre-89 12-pin adapter, this could be a an inconvenience that sets you back a minute.
