This plugs into your existing main plug for select* 1998+ Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. This would be used to avoid cutting and splicing your factory harness in order to put in an aftermarket radio. Use this in conjunction with the harness that came with your aftermarket radio to create a custom adapter. The wiring colors on this plug are the aftermarket standard, making it easy to match them up.

*Not all models had this plug style in all the years listed. Please check your radio before ordering. This style of plug was used in 1998+ Ford vehicles but not all 1998+. If your plugs are gray, you have the 'Phase 2' plugs and this will not work for you.

Please note: The subwoofer and auxiliary plugs are not included. Neither plug was standard in all vehicles though. If you don't have a separate subwoofer, you don't need the subwoofer plug. If you don't have anything interfacing with the radio (satellite, remote CD Changer, rear seat video, etc), you don't need the auxiliary plug.
