If you've got a 2007+ GM am/fm, single CD slot, or CD6 radio that looks very similar to the one pictured and your aux jack is acting up, this is the repair service for you. We will replace your aux jack (typically within 3 business days) and return the radio to you.
A defective aux jack usually causes the radio to switch back and forth between modes randomly. This happens because the aux jack has broken loose inside and internal pieces make contact when the vehicle bounces around, causing the radio to think you inserted (or removed) an aux jack. We replace the entire aux jack with a new one. You get
your radio back, so there are no programming requirements when you re-install it.
This service is NOT for navigation or CD-DVD dual drive radios.
INSTRUCTIONS
You will purchase the repair from this listing first. Then you will send your radio AND a copy of the payment confirmation email OR the Order Process email to:

Our techs do not answer inquiries, so questions about receipt of your package or estimated completion date will not be answered. Your tracking number allows you to see when we received the package. The repair turn-around time is indicated above. You will receive a tracking number when it ships back out. If there is a problem or unexpected delay, we will contact you. Calling or emailing us about progress only serves to
slow down progress. We know it is tough to go without a radio for a week or more but please be patient. Factory service centers take 3+ weeks to perform repairs, so we are clearly exceeding the standard.
Use common sense!! Include the requested paperwork or, at the very least, a note that indicates your Order Number. Between inventory, repairs, and returns, we get hundreds of items every week.
Packages that show up without any documentation WILL experience a significant delay in processing.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Please make sure to remove any CDs you might have in the radio. Shipping a radio with a CD in the drive increases the chances the drive will be damaged. You don't want to ship us a radio for a relatively inexpensive aux jack repair, only to have us find it needs a new CD drive by the time it gets here.
Any other repairs which are required are not covered at this price. If you need an additional repair, please contact us for a repair estimate.
DISCLAIMER: Repair prices are based on the assumption the radio is in it's native state. If it has been damaged by prior attempts to diagnose or repair a problem, additional parts may be required. If so, additional costs will be incurred. (If we can even repair it.) Should we find this to be the case with your radio, we'll contact you BEFORE doing any additional work. However, should you elect not to have the additional work completed, there will be no refund for time and materials already put into the radio for the original repair/diagnosis.
