DETAILS

This OEM GM keyfob/lock kit is brand new in the package. It is an assembly line left-over. Included are two flip-key fobs with cut blades, one ignition cylinder and one lock cylinder. This would be used in a situation where you need to re-key the vehicle, for instance. Or... buy it for the remotes, if you simply need to add one to your collection. They're OEM keyfobs and the price is right. Keep in mind, however, you will need to replace the blade with yours (or a blank one which then needs cut) if you're not re-keying the vehicle.

As with many vehicle parts, there are multiple versions that sometimes look the same or similar. To ensure you can use these, please make sure your current remote part number or FCC ID matches what we have listed above. The FCC ID appears to have been listed for some Buick Encore, 2013-2016 Buick Lacrosse, 2013-2016 Buick Regal, 2011-2015 Buick Verano, 2010-2015 Chevy Camaro, 2011-2015 Chevy Cruze, 2010-2017 Chevy Equinox, Chevy Impala, 2013-2016 Chevy Malibu, 2012-2017 Chevy Sonic and 2010-2017 GMC Terrain vehicles. (Of course this has a Chevy logo on it, so keep that in mind...)

Programming of these remotes will be required. This is generally performed at a GM dealer but some locksmiths may be equipped to do it as well. We cannot provide information on this process or a price quote. That will have to come from the shop actually doing the programming. Not doing research on that process ahead of time does not make this item not usable or defective. Please ensure you know the process and are prepared to have it performed before you purchase. Each pair of keyfobs have tags on them with a code. So, if it is needed during the programming process, it's there.
