**This year/model was not originally offered with this radio but it is still a direct replacement and is fully functional, with the possible exception of the Speed Control Volume feature.
^They changed radios mid-year in 2002 for the Blazer, Jimmy, S10,
S15 and Sonoma. This is for the version with 3 5/8 inch radio openings only.
It has the same plug as many other GM vehicles from the late 80s and early 90s. However, you will need to make sure you have 5 3/4 inches of depth if you plan to use it in an older vehicle. You might also have to fashion your own mounts or drill holes in your dash if you plan to use the attached side mounts. This does NOT apply for vehicles in the application list above. It is a direct replacement in those.
It will also work in most 1980-1988 GM vehicles with an optional wiring and antenna adapter package. (See the Packages category for the radio and wiring adapters combined.) It is guaranteed to work in the 1984 to 1988 Pontiac Fiero, for example, with the wiring adapters. The radio DOES NOT say Chevrolet on it, so it won't look out of place if you dont have a Chevy.
