Submited By: Bruce Wigton on 02/22/2016 I ordered the new knobs with faceplate for my GM cd6 radio. My radio is actually a BOSE version and as advertised with the knobs, there are no more BOSE faceplates. However, with the faceplate and knobs, you get new gaskets and so forth, so I changed everything (including new gaskets) over to my old faceplate, which is in good condition. Now the radio looks like new and still has the BOSE name on it. I am very satisfied - and it was very easy to do. I would gladly do business again.

Submited By: HENRY FRANCZAK on 01/21/2015 I ORDERED A FACEPLATE WITH KNOBS AND BUTTONS FOR MY BOSE CAR RADIO THE VEHICLE IN QUESTION IS A 2003 GMC ENVOY SLT 4.2L V6 4WD MODEL, I SPOKE WITH A EMPLOYEE WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEY WALKED ME THROUGH THE NEEDED ANSWERS\' THAT WAS NEEDED TO ORDER THE CORRECT FACEPLATE AND I NEEDED THE KNOBS AND BUTTONS\' AS MINE WERE WORN AND ALTHOUGH THEY STILL WORKED THE WORN PARTS WERE MAKING THE DASH BOARD RADIO VERY UGLY. AFTER SOME TIME ON THE PHONE WITH THIS COMPANY I FOUND THE PICTURE THAT EXACTLY WAS AN EXACT MATCH FOR THE BOSE RADIO FACEPLATE AND KNOBS AND BUTTONS THAT I NEEDED. SO I ORDERED THE ENTIRE PACKAGE, AND DOWNLOADED THE INSTALLMENT PICTURE AND HOW TO INSTALL AND TAKE APART THE RADIO ON YOU TUBE, THIS REMOVAL OF THE RADIO IS NOT FOR THE FAINTHEARTED, MIND YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A VERY PATIENCE HAND AND COMMIT SOME TIME IN DOING THIS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT MENTIONED. AFTER REMOVING THE THE NUMEROUS SCREWS AND BOLTS HOLDING THE RADIO IN PLACE, AND REMOVING THE (3) BOLTS AND DISCONNECTING THE ANTENNA AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR, I REMOVED THE RADIO. I REMOVING THE TOP PLATE AND THE BACK PLATE OF THE RADIO, PATIENCE IS NEEDED AS THIS IS NOT A FIVE MINUTE PROJECT, I DISCONNECTED THE ONE ELECTRICAL WIRE INSIDE THE RADIO, AND THEN I REMOVED THE (4) SMALL SCREWS\' HOLDING THE CIRCUIT BOARD IN PLACE, BE CAREFUL NOT TO TURN OVER THE FACEPLATE AS ALL OF THE BUTTONS WILL FALL OUT. BUT, IN MY CASE I FOLLOWED THE CORRECT PROCEDURE, AND INSTALLED THE NEW FACEPLATE, THE MOST DIFFICULT WAS REMOVING THE KNOBS\' SOUND AND TUNING KNOBS, IT TOOK ME SEVERAL TRIES TO DO THIS, BUT AFTER THE SECOND OR THIRD TRY, SUCCESS!!!! I REINSTALLED THE CAR RADIO AND IT LOOKS LIKE A NEW ONE DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY, THANK YOU REPLACEMENT RADIOS FOR THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE INSTRUCTION SHEET TO DIRECT ME TO THE CORRECT WEBSITE TO MAKE SURE I HAD THE KNOBS AND BUTTONS IN THE PROPER PLACE. MY RADIO IS WORKING GREAT AND THE BOSE SOUND SYSTEM IS ROCKING WITH THE NEW FACEPLATE AND THE NEW KNOBS AND BUTTONS\' ARE A THING OF BEAUTY. THE MONEY WAS WELL SPENT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT RADIOS TO ANYONE THAT WOULD ASK ME WHERE I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FROM. ALTHOUGH THIS IS A LONG REPLY, I JUST THOUGHT THAT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT TO EXPRESS THE EXCELLENT SERVICE AND THE EXCELLENT SHIPPING, AS THE PRODUCT WAS WELL PACKED. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD ORDERING FROM REPLACEMENT RADIOS, I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I FOUND YOUR WEBSITE. AGAIN THANK YOU........I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO RATE YOUR COMPANY AT (5) STARS OR EVEN HIGHER.
Reply by Replacement Radios on 1/21/15: This is a repair that just about anyone should be able to perform. We can swap the face out here in 5 minutes or less. Removing the radio from the vehicle may take more time. The amount depends on your vehicle and your level of competence. It usually takes us an average of 10 minutes to remove or install a GM radio. So we would normally have this whole project done in under 30 minutes. Your experience may vary...
